I know, you just want tags so you can register your vehicle, but you failed your smog inspection.

So what can you do?  What should you do???

If you didn’t get an official smog inspection, then you could be wasting a lot of time.  Get a smog check first thing.  Even if you were told it will fail, get it tested nonetheless.  You’d be surprised to see how many variables there are for vehicles.  Trust me on this.

If you did get an official smog inspection, look at your vehicle inspection report (vir).  This will tell you the area in which it failed.  This does not pinpoint the problem, but a guide nonetheless.

Most smog inspections fail for incomplete system monitors, and most can be completed by driving the vehicle, but it’s not the mileage that is the most important thing; it’s the way you drive it.

If you find that you have driven vehicle a long time, and these system monitors have yet to complete, then let us fix this for you.
